Since 1761, when Aaron Hart first settled in Trois-Rivières from Europe, Quebec has been home to a Jewish community that has deep roots in our collective history, and is a proud part of the fabric of the province of Quebec.

We invite you to discover our shared heritage through over 100 portraits of “les juifs d’ici” — some names you may know, and others you may not, but all will leave a lasting impression. Together, we can be proud of the impact we have made on Quebec, Canada and beyond… all right here, from our own backyard.
